About Gillian

Like puzzle pieces that fit together, Gillian works with people to uncover the source of their distress and become the author of their own new story.  She is an experienced psychotherapist and holistic nutritionist who believes that in order to be free of dis-ease, both the mind and body must be treated as one. Gillian lives in downtown Toronto where she works in a hospital psychiatry unit, and is the owner of a natural mental health practice where she helps people heal themselves. She uses a mix of East and West techniques including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation, Plant-Based Nutrition, Journaling & The Daring Way.

Ancient Shamanic techniques, plant medicines and modern psychotherapy are woven together to create a tapestry of healing, resilience, empowerment and personal discovery.

Fusing different modalities, classical and modern, spiritual and practical, we will deliver an incredibly powerful and profound life enhancing experience.  By looking at yourself from a variety of angles we can find new ways to reduce stress, unleash your inner strength and forge a new and amazing future full of opportunity.  Our intention is to explore ways to live more fully, to step into our greatest potential and shed awareness on the awesomeness of being human.  Enhance mental clarity, gain emotional intelligence, fine tune your physical organism and embrace the mystery of spirit in the ideal setting of the Sacred Valley of Peru.  For thousands of years people have been coming to the Valley to enhance their wellbeing — NOW it is your turn.

This retreat is the first of its kind. It is an opportunity to courageously shine a light in dark places to access stored emotions and have support in setting them free. Gillian and Julian, with the help of the Shamans, will walk beside you as you take this opportunity to see deep within yourself. By looking within we can shift our perception, cultivate intentions and actions and embark on our own path to inner healing.
